Where are you based?Nestled within the picturesque setting of The Pirrie Hall in Brook, our nursery and forest school boast a dedicated indoor and outdoor classroom, inviting young minds to explore and learn amidst nature's wonders. Are you term-time only?No, we are year-round. But term-time only contracts are available, as are holiday only contracts.

How often do you do Forest School?All the time! Our forest school is continuous provision and so these activities are always available for the children to participate in.

Are you outside all the time?Yes and No. Our Forest School is continuous provision, and not just sessional and the children have the freedom to choose when they want to engage in forest school activities. Our indoor and outdoor classrooms are always accessible.

What is a rising three?A rising three is a child who is within a term of turning three, essentially they are 2 years and 9 months.

How long does it take to get to your Forest SchoolOur Forest School is directly across the playground on site, so just a hop, skip and a jump away, meaning they can be outdoors and come back inside as much as they like! We also have access to wider woodlands on site just a few minutes away.

Do you provide meals and snacks?At our nursery and forest school, we take great care in providing nourishing meals to support your child's growth and development. Our food offerings are designed with their well-being in mind. A nutritious breakfast is available each morning between 7:30 and 8:30am, setting the tone for a day of exploration and learning. Our cooked lunches and dinners are thoughtfully prepared to ensure a balanced and delicious experience. In between meals, children can enjoy a fruit snack in the morning and a savoury snack in the afternoon, keeping them energised and satisfied throughout the day. Our meals and snacks are prepared in strict accordance with early years food guidelines, guaranteeing that your child receives the necessary nutrients for their overall health. We believe that a healthy diet fosters a strong foundation for their learning journey, and we are committed to providing them with the best start possible.

What hours are you open?Our nursery and forest school is committed to providing exceptional care and education year-round. We are open for 51 weeks a year, ensuring continuous support for your child's growth and development. Our flexible hours, from 7:30 AM to 6 PM, cater to the needs of busy families, allowing them to drop off and pick up their little ones at their convenience. Although we are open 51 weeks a year, we can offer term time only contracts.

Do you accept funding and tax free childcare?Yes, we gladly accept both Early Years Funding and Tax-Free Childcare vouchers. We are committed to making our nursery and forest school accessible to all families, and these options provide valuable financial support for parents. In addition to these, we are open to accepting various other voucher schemes available, as we strive to offer flexibility and convenience in payment methods.

What are your fees?We understand that families require flexibility, so we have chosen not to charge a daily fee. Instead, we provide a more adaptable approach to meet the diverse needs of parents. You have the freedom to choose the hours that suit your family's schedule best. While we prioritise flexibility, we do have a minimum number of hours per day to ensure we can maintain our commitment to delivering quality childcare and creating a nurturing environment for your little ones. Our goal is to provide value for money while remaining sustainable, ensuring that each child receives the best care and early years education possible. Our standard fee rate is £9 per hour for three-year-olds and £10 per hour for two-year-olds. Funded hours are charged a consumables and Forest School fee at the following hourly rates: Two-year-old funded spaces: £2 per hour of funding Three-year-old funded spaces: £3.50 per hour of funding
