Owned by a mother and daughter trio Teresa, Gemma and Lydia, Sunny Days have two settings - Sunny Days at Teresa's and Sunny Days at Brook.
Teresa has over 40 years of experience in the childcare industry. As a registered childminder, foster carer, and mother to five, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the nursery. Her commitment to the wellbeing and development of children is unwavering, and she ensures that our nursery operates with the highest standards of care and education. Teresa will continue to offer childcare through our childminding business Sunny Days at Teresa's.
Lydia, with six years of experience in residential childcare, brings her expertise and love for children to our team. As a mother of two, she recognises the importance of creating a warm and supportive environment. Lydia will continue to work alongside Teresa at Sunny Days at Teresa's, whilst Gemma leads the setting at Brook.
Together, we share a deep passion for childcare and a commitment to creating outstanding experiences for children. We are dedicated to fostering an environment where children can explore, discover, and learn while feeling safe, valued, and supported.

Gemma has been working in childcare for four years, previously having spent fifteen years in communications and marketing. As a mother herself, she understands the unique needs and joys of raising a child.

Gemma's transition from the corporate world to the realm of childcare is not just a professional shift, but a heart-led commitment. In her role at Brook, Gemma wears multiple hats. Beyond caring for the children with the warmth and attention they deserve, she also takes on the role of day-to-day business management. Her innate ability to juggle responsibilities ensures that both the children and the operational aspects of the nursery receive the care and attention they need.
Gemma's journey of growth and expertise is ongoing, and has recently achieved her Level 3 qualification, and remains committed to continuously enhancing her knowledge and skills.
Introducing our dedicated and popular manager, Kelly Shaw, who brings over ten years of experience in the childcare field to our nursery. With a true passion for creating magical experiences, her warmth and enthusiasm are evident in all she does.
